Restorative

Restorative Dentist

Dr. Abraham and the Capstone Dentistry team do our best to preserve your natural teeth. Our preventive treatments are great for helping you maintain a beautiful and healthy smile. But for those times when preventive care isn’t enough, modern dentistry offers a number of restorative services to give your smile a second chance.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

If we detect decay during your exam, we may recommend a filling. Our composite (tooth-colored) fillings require less preparation and leave behind more of your tooth’s healthy structure.

Gum (Periodontal) Treatment

Gum disease is not to be taken lightly. If you notice that your gums are red, swollen, tender, or bleeding, we recommend you come into our office for an evaluation. There are many different types of ways to treat gum disease depending on how serious your case is. We’ll find the best solution for your needs and get you back to healthy gums in no time.

Crowns & Bridges

Crowns, or caps, are placed on top of teeth to cover chips and cracks. Crowns provide strength to weakened teeth and help prevent further damage. We can also place a crown on top of a single tooth dental implant to protect the implant and restore your mouth’s full function. We use zirconia crowns for a number of reasons. They look natural, can withstand a lot of wear and tear, and are biocompatible, which means they can stay in place for years without any adverse reactions from your body. The prep work for zirconia crowns requires less tooth removal, and there is no need for a metal base for bonding.
Bridges connect to crowns on either side of a gap caused by missing teeth. The bridge contains a false tooth that “bridges” the gap and gives you back a complete smile.

Dentures

Missing more than a few teeth? Dealing with loose or ill-fitting dentures? Advancements in materials and techniques have led to dentures that fit better and are more comfortable than ever before! We can give you a smile that looks great and functions more like your natural teeth, even if you’re missing most or all of your teeth.

Root Canal Therapy

Dr. Abraham offers gentle root canal therapy to help relieve the pain caused by an infected tooth. A root canal isn’t as scary as many people think, either. During the procedure, we’ll clean out the infected tooth pulp, and then fill and seal the inside of the tooth to protect it from future infection. Finally, we place a crown on top to give the tooth strength.

If you’ll be undergoing restorative treatment, or you’re nervous about your appointment, we offer painless dental experiences with the help of nitrous oxide sedation and local anesthetics.
